Austria has very high standards of medical care. The ultimate goal of the Austrian medical care is to provide “A generous health care system with excellent access to doctors for patients and very good medical results”. High level of medical care comparable to that in other industrialized countries is available throughout the country. Medical doctors in Austria traditionally presented as the professional group with the highest client satisfaction, and they are highly efficient.
Austrian medicine had shown the best cancer survival rates in Europe. There are recreational resorts in Austria, including the mineral springs (salt, sulphur), which provide opportunities for treatment of virtually all diseases and ailments, by yielding or natural therapies. All of those resorts are recognized by law and periodically checked by scientists. Most mineral water resorts are also tourist centers, which provide a large variety of opportunities for recreation and entertainment.

Australian, Canadian and U.S. citizens traveling to Austria do not require a visa for staying of up to 90 days. All other travelers do require visa.
